Alfredo comes to us with highly-skilled, hands-on training from practicing dentistry in Venezuela. We’re so glad he chose to come to the United States to pursue his dream of earning his doctorate of dental surgery here. He has over a decade of experience and has been working as part of the Canela Dental family for about two years. Alfredo is here to help you. He’s especially good at providing comprehensive gum care and treatments to patients of all ages. Alfredo said he was always drawn to working in dentistry because of his deep-rooted love for helping people. If he wasn’t working as a valuable part of our team, Alfredo says he would still be working somewhere else in the dental field. He’s full of faith, hope, humility, and honesty. Outside of the office, Alfredo loves to travel, play soccer, and go swimming. He’s also active each weekend with his local church.
Carol came to us as a former dentist from Columbia, before completing her dental hygiene training here in Florida. She’s been working in dentistry for nearly 30 years and has been with our office for almost a decade of that time. As one of our busy dental hygienists, Carol is responsible for completing dental cleanings, reviewing patient oral health for improvements, taking x-rays, and providing top-notch sterilization for all tools post-treatment. One of the things she loves hearing most from patients is when they’re surprised at how easy and pain-free their cleaning was with Carol. She has a very gentle touch that patients like you will appreciate and love! Carol says being a part of the Canela Dental team feels more like you’re working with family, and it makes her job even more rewarding and special each day. You’ll find that Carol is always responsible, kind, trustworthy, dependable, and a good listener when you need someone to talk to. When she’s not taking care of teeth at the office, you’ll probably find Carol sharing time with her close family and friends or playing a game of tennis.
